Arranging a Baptism

Baptism is more than a Thanksgiving for the birth of a child or a Naming Ceremony. God is involved!

It is where Parents and Sponsors become members of God’s Church, and promise to raise their children according to the teachings of Jesus. That’s why Baptisms are usually held in the church
during normal Sunday Services.

To make the arrangements please contact your local Anglican Church.

Arranging a Wedding

Marriage means a new beginning in that your choices in life will include another person who is in partnership with you, declared and celebrated in the presence of God and before witnesses.

Marriages conducted in an Anglican Church are celebrated according to the rites and ceremonies of the Anglican Church of Australia.

To help you on your journey, please contact your local parish Priest.

Arranging a Confirmation

Confirmation is the Sacrament that acknowledges an adult decision to live as a Christian. It formalizes membership in the Anglican Church as well as “confirming” the promises made for the
person at Baptism (often as an infant).

In the Anglican Church, Confirmation is celebrated by a Bishop as a sign of becoming a member of the world-wide family of Anglicans.

It is a wonderful thing to be Confirmed!
So if you hear God calling, please contact your local Anglican Church.

Arranging a Funeral

A funeral is a ritualized ceremony following a death to honour, memorialize, and celebrate an individual.

Funeral conducted in an Anglican Church are in accordance to the rites and ceremonies of the Anglican Church of Australia.

Please contact you local parish Priest to help make arrangements.

The Bible Society

Our Father, high in your Holy Place, your name is holy.

We want the day to come

when you reign as King in our land.

We want you to become Boss of our land, the same way you are Boss of your Holy Place.

Today, give us the food that we eat every day.

Forgive our wrong-doing,the same way we forgive the wrong-doing that people do to us.

Do not take us on the path that goes to wrong-doing,

but hold us so the Devil cannot get us.

You hold the land.

You hold the power.

You hold the light.

Forever and forever.

Amen.
