Ministry
Ministry in the Bunbury Diocese takes many forms but our fundamental unit is the Parish. Each address within the diocesan boundaries is covered by a Parish, a Minster or an Anglican Community and the regular services offered vary according to each parish unit. In addition to worship services , Parishes also offer a variety of programs, outreach activities and charitable support in their local area. Our Parishes and Anglican Communities are listed here with further information for each one.
Beyond the parish structure there are ministries that cover the diocese more widely based around common themes such as ministries to seafarers and Mother's Union (MU), a full list can be found here. The Anglican Church also reaches out in ministry through its schools and in the Diocese of Bunbury we have three Anglican Schools with which we partner in ministry and mission. Please find links to each of our schools here. As with all dioceses we often have vacancies and would encourage ordained persons interested in ministry with us to explore our vacancies page here and make contact with the Archdeacon via the contacts page in the first instance. If you are interested in exploring a calling and vocation for Holy Orders, please check out this section and make contact either with your local parish priest or the Archdeacon, see the Contact Page for details. |
